![]() Ive tried many eyeshadows (drugstore, Chanel, Smashbox, Urban Decay, Bare Essentials. Today though, I'm focusing on my main palettes. I picked Kid for this review because its the color I wear EVERYDAY. Not only do MAC have amazing pan eyeshadows, but they have a range of gorgeous, intense, loose pigments, creamy paintpots, paints and mineralize shadows, among others. I never get any powder fallout under the eye, when I use these shadows and they wear really well, without fading, but that may be just the way I apply them (pack on the shadow, blend, build, blend and so on). They have such high pigmentation and colour payoff is always really good, even when I neglect an eyeshadow primer. On a daily basis, I will usually turn to my beloved MAC eyeshadows, as I know they will never let me down, whatever look I'm after. This way of holding and storing your shadows is so convenient for both travelling and keeping your makeup in order. That means, if you fill a whole 15 eyeshadow palette, it will cost you a whopping £170.50, which is rather excessive! You can purchase smaller palettes of either two or four shadows, to kickstart your collection with your most favourite shades. I have to say, the price of the palette has jumped up considerably, since I last bought one. It's one of my favourite eyeshadows for creating looks that have depth.Although it can become quite expensive, I love that MAC allow you to build up your own palette, customising your personal, makeup collection. These shadows are available as an individual pot (£12) or a pan refill (£10), that can easily slot into a palette, that you purchase separately. I find the best look for this shade is adding MAC's Swiss Chocolate to the corners of the eyes to neutralise the red tones and adding MAC's All That Glitters to the inner corner of the eye. This color was discontinued by Mac, so I was super happy to find it. I use MAC Coppering in the middle of my eyelid only. But, it is easy to work with in terms of blending it in with other eyeshadow shades. Yes, okay, you can't really just wear this alone due to it's red undertones (that are more apparent in the sun). I thought that this was going to be a shade that's slightly harder to work with compared to most other eyeshadow shades, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The shimmer looks stunning and really complements my blue eyes. It is definitely a shade made to stand out. The more you add to the eye and the more you build it up, the more beautiful it looks. I find that the shadow also blends very well with other shades. The make up artist for my wedding used All that glitters and I would like to be able to get a similar look for our. Can anyone recommend a substitute for the discontinued shade All that glitters please I saw online that Naked Lunch is more frosted which can look too bright on hooded eyes. I was certainly right!Īs MAC claim, this eyeshadow is highly pigmented and can be built up really easily. MAC All that Glitters - substitute needed Question. ![]() I knew it wasn't going to be an eyeshadow I would ever choose to wear alone on my eyelid, but it's definitely one that I thought would look perfect when blended with some brown and neutral shades. I bought this eyeshadow back in autumn when it was all about the coppers and I wore it most days. ![]() It's a gorgeous rusty orange (the pictures do not show the true beauty of it) with red undertones. When I first received this eyeshadow, I fell in love with the shade. Coppering is a veluxe pearl finish eyeshadow. They describe the colour as an 'orange copper'. MAC claims that Coppering is a 'highly-pigmented powder' that 'applies evenly' and 'blends well'. It's definitely worth keep an eye out for their deals! Anyway, let's get on to talking about this beautiful shade - 'Coppering'! BeautySpin is a website that is a retailer of many beauty products - drugstore to high end - sometimes at discounted prices. ![]() I bought Coppering back in autumn when everyone was crazy about rusty copper shades (okay, maybe it was just me). ![]()
